Astro Palace Hotel & Suites

We wait all year for our vacation and our greatest wish is to have an epic time. We want to experience exceptional luxury and personalized service during our stay. This is why our choice of hotel is extremely important. I personally do extensive research on location of hotel; amenities offered and of course review of the resort. I was so elated when I arrived to Astro Palace and Elpida showed me to my room. The room exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and the view OMG. I had a balcony and a breathtaking view of the ocean and the gorgeous pool. The next factor to an impressive and memorable vakay is the staff at the hotel. This team works tirelessly to create a haven where the guests can relax and thoroughly enjoy themselves. It really helps knowing that there is an onsite restaurant and oh yes room service. I want to personally thank the team of hospitality people at the hotel for adding that extra special everything resulting in unforgettable memories during my stay. Kostas, Dimitri and Ahmet food and beverage team could not be nicer. Facts. Thanks you guys for outstanding service and the best cocktails on the island of Santorini. When you go to this magical place, be sure to meet Kostas. He is superlative in describing all the food on the menu as well as the delish and incredible breakfast the hotel serves each morning. And yes it can be included in the room rate. It just doesn’t get any better than this. Also Kostas is extremely knowledgeable on restaurant recommendations. He is amazing and we were so happy and lucky to have met him. The rooms, the pool and the atmosphere of Astro Palace is perfection in itself. All the staff exceeded our expectations with their friendliness and attentiveness. Reception staff were very well informed and greeted us every time we arrived or left the hotel, unless late at night when sometimes nobody was on the reception desk. The bar staff were great and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast staff were always smiling and helping us with choices and advising what was available if not part of the buffet.

The hotel is conveniently located near Fira center, making it easy to get around. The rooms are exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. We had a private jacuzzi with our room and absolutely loved it. The common pool was also clean, though a bit cold since it's not heated—understandable for April. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, especially Georgia at the front desk. She explained everything clearly and consistently went above and beyond to assist us. We also booked a Catamaran boat tour through the hotel, and it turned out to be a fun and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The experience of staying at Astro palace left me feeling extremely pleasant and satisfied. Particularly, I would like to praise the lady at the front desk. Her service was top-notch. She always wore a smile and greeted me warmly. Her warm eyes and kind greetings instantly relieved my fatigue from the journey. When handling the check-in procedures, she demonstrated extremely high professional quality and efficiency. She patiently answered all my questions and also gave me a detailed introduction to the various facilities and services of the hotel. Her enthusiasm and carefulness made me feel at home in this unfamiliar environment.The overall service of the hotel was also outstanding. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the facilities were complete and in good operation. Whether it was room service or catering service, the staff could respond promptly and meet our needs.

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough! From our lovely warm welcome from receptionist Marelina, to the excellent breakfast selection and wonderful bedroom, this hotel was amazing. Marelina was so helpful, showing us key places to visit and suggesting tours. All the receptionists on duty had a cheery good morning or good night for us every day. Unfortunately I didn't get the names of the 2 gents in the breakfast room, but again, they were so pleasant and accommodating. The selection of food choices was excellent for breakfast, but we were also offered further choices if we required them. The pool area was well laid out and very clean. Again, the bar staff were friendly and a good choice of drinks was available. The only slight negative is, it's a 7 minute up hill walk to the main town. However, taxis are available if you wish. The hotel is in a quiet area so our sleep wasn't disturbed by road noise.
